Week 17

We've had a great week this week! We got all of our Christmas books out and now have our Christmas book basket by the Christmas tree.  During read aloud time, we go sit in the living room and everyone picks out a Christmas book to read🎄. Another favorite tradition we have is doing our 12 Days of Christmas.  We pick two families and then every day for the 12 days leading up to Christmas, we drop off a gift at their door after dark and run!  Thankfully Eli is willing to do most of the running!  Ivy and Emmitt are still a little nervous to run and hide.  Dirk ran with Eli the first night and I get out of the van and wait for him, but he usually runs to the door.  For these 12 days of Christmas, we write a different name for the Savior along with a scripture verse that references that name and then some type of gift to represent it.  So, for example, tonight we dropped off candles and we wrote "The Light.  John 8:12" Anyway, as for core stuff.....

Language Arts - Eli worked mainly on h...
